This is the most in-depth monograph ever produced on this small African antelope. This mammoth work is based on 12 years of fieldwork. Aimed at highlighting the plight of the species, this book profiles the 16 sub-saharan species of duiker. Chapters contains information on their evolution and behaviour, and duikers in rock art. There are over 200 black and white line drawings by Paddy Wilson and Janet Duff and colour plates of all 16 species. The authors cover everything one could possibly want to know about duikers. The reprint from Zimbi Books in South Africa has been printed on higher grade paper and the book comes with a glossy dust-jacket improving the overall quality even more so from the first printing.
